A geofencing time clock app that ends off-site clock-ins
Set a boundary around each site on a map. Every clock-in records its distance from the site, and anyone clocking in from down the road is flagged before the hour ever reaches a timesheet.
0m
A typical on-site clock-in lands within 50m of the site centre — and the distance is recorded against the hour, every time.
If a clock-in can happen anywhere, it tells you nothing
A timestamp on its own does not prove someone was where they were meant to be. Without a location, the gaps are easy to miss and quietly expensive.
Clocking in from the car park — or home
A worker clocks in on the way in, or before they have left the house, and the hour starts before the work does. The minutes add up across a site.
One worker covering for another
Buddy-punching only needs a shared phone or a borrowed login. A timestamp cannot tell you whether the right person was actually on site.
No answer when a client asks "who is here?"
A client or a fire officer asks who is on site, and a list of clock-in times is not the same as a register of who is actually present, where.
Draw the boundary once, check it on every clock-in
Each site gets a geofence — a centre point and a radius you set on a map. From then on, the location is part of the clock-in, not an afterthought.
-
Set the fence on a map
Drop a pin on the site and choose a radius — tight for a single building, wider for a yard or a campus. Each site can have its own boundary.
-
Capture location at clock-in
When a worker clocks in, the device reports its GPS position. A reading that is too imprecise to trust is rejected before it is recorded.
-
Measure the distance
The distance from the site centre is calculated and written to the timesheet — 50 metres reads very differently from 3 kilometres.
-
Flag what falls outside
An off-site clock-in is accepted but marked, and the right manager is alerted, so an out-of-bounds hour is reviewed rather than missed.
The right person, in the right place
Geofencing answers where. Face verification answers who. Put the two together and the two oldest ways to game a clock-in stop working at once.
Wrong place is caught
A clock-in from outside the boundary is flagged with its distance, so an hour logged 3km away never passes quietly.
Wrong person is caught
The face has to match the enrolled worker and pass liveness, so clocking in for a colleague does not work even on site.
Both, on every hour
The location and the match score travel together to the timesheet, so each hour carries proof of who and where.
A live register, and a heads-up the moment something is off
See who is on each site right now, and hear about a breach before a client or an auditor does.
A live, geofenced register
See everyone on each site right now, placed against the boundary — ready to print for a roll-call or an evacuation.
Hours you can prove
The distance is logged with every clock-in, so a disputed hour comes with a location, not just a time.
Off-site, never silent
Out-of-bounds clock-ins are flagged and routed to the right manager, so the exception is reviewed, not buried.
Nothing extra to carry
GPS comes from the same tablet or phone the worker already clocks in on — there is no separate tracker or beacon to fit.
